The Drum announced their shortlist for the 2016 Drum Network Awards yesterday (25 October 2016) and we are thrilled to share that we have been nominated for two Drum Network Awards.
Hunterlodge has been nominated in the Social Media Campaign/Strategy of the Year for the #TeachersMatter campaign we did for the 2016 Global Teacher Prize - an initiative of the Varkey Foundation earlier this year. We were tasked to raise awareness of the prestigious Global Teacher Prize and created an inspiring, content-led social campaign anchored around the hashtag #TeachersMatter. Encouraging the global community to share examples of what teachers have enabled them to do, and aligning the #TeachersMatter message to real news events as they happened, made our message relevant and shareable, garnering over 110 million impressions in just eight weeks –exceeding our target of +15% social engagement. We've also been nominated in the Charity Campaign/Strategy of the Year for our Give A Home A Cat campaign for Cats Protection. Through understanding peoples’ motivations behind adopting a cat – coupled with a magical creative proposition that makes rescue cats heroic – Hunterlodge’s ‘Give a Home a Cat’ campaign helped Cats Protection to re-home over 5,000 cats across four geographical catchment arease in just 3 months. Our incisive targeting in digital channels allowed us to make the overarching proposition relevant to multiple segments, addressing their discrete motivations and barriers with nuanced messaging. Our technical know-how ensured continuous campaign optimisation in real-time, ensuring that investment was continually pointed towards the most responsive audiences and catchments. Supported by a radically re-engineered customer journey, making the enquiry process as seamless as possible, the campaign served to reverse a decline in re-homing numbers, driving a 1,500% increase in the ‘find a cat’ searches and resulting in a 30% conversion rate from unique enquiry to adoption and putting us 253% over our briefed re-homing target. Congratulations to all the nominees. We are looking forward to the awards dinner on the 24th of November and have our fingers crossed.
