We are proud to announce that Rob Hunter, Founder and Managing Director of Hunterlodge Advertising, has been granted a Fellowship from the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) in recognition of his exceptional and prolonged contribution to the IPA.
Rob has been an integral member of the IPA Professional Development Group since 2009 and a co-chair of it since 2014. During this time, he has been tireless in his support of the IPA’s CPD programme: he has been a regular speaker at the Training Forum on the business benefits of CPD and the importance of high-quality staff appraisals; contributed to videos promoting the IPA’s qualifications; provided valuable input into the IPA’s free HR modules on appraisals, inductions, planning and evaluating training, as well as to the One2One mentoring programme; and helped to define the IPA’s 10-year vision for CPD, to transform a professional industry into a profession. It is no surprise that his agency has achieved CPD Gold Accreditation every year since the award was launched in 2008 – and is therefore one of the few to be Platinum accredited. Furthermore, he has encouraged clients to participate in IPA qualifications to promote better working relationships with their agencies.
Rob has also championed the IPA’s quest for Chartered status, and is currently part of the Professional Development Group’s ‘Future of CPD’ Working Party.
Along with seven other industry practitioners, Rob was awarded his Fellowship at the IPA Members’ Lunch on 14th April 2016 where Hunterlodge was also awarded its 8th consecutive Gold and 3rd Platinum accreditation for their continued excellence in professional development.
